Impressive: The World's Smallest Snowman~

this minuscule model -- about a fifth the width of a human hair -- is not made out of snow. It's constructed of two tiny tin beads that are usually used to calibrate an electron microscope, and welded together with platinum~

It's built by David Cox, a nanotech expert at the Quantum Detection Group of Britain's National Physical Laboratory. The remarkable flourish of his smiling snowman is its little happy face, carved into the top orb using a focused ion beam~

Wingsuit soldiers: Yes, man really can fly~

Military types must be as fascinated with Jetman as we are. But Jetman's jet-powered wingsuit is still ahead of SPELCO (Special Parachute and Logistics Consortium), because this Gryphon Next Generation Parachute System has no engines — it's a glider, but that doesn't make it any less thrilling~

The company says its stealth-optimized getup has a glide ratio of 5:1, meaning that a 30,000 foot jump will let its pilot accurately steer himself to any point within 30 miles. It's said the average speed of such a flight would be about 60 miles an hour, but I'm thinking you could go a lot faster than that by pointing this wingsuit straight down~

At first, the wings will be parachute-assisted, lowering the pilot gently to the ground at the end of the thrill-a-minute flight. Eventually, the company plans to develop a version that can be landed without the help of a parachute. Looks like even more fun than a jet pack~

HAPPY 15TH BIRTHDAY, PLAYSTATION!~

Today, the Sony Playstation turns 15 years old. As it transitions from childhood to adulthood, your Playstation might notice some changes. Its voice might crack or become inexplicably deep. You can expect hair to grow in odd places. Your Playstation might also become increasingly interested in the opposite sex (or the same sex, we don’t judge.)~

After 15 years of Twisted Metal, Gran Turismo, Resident Evil, Metal Gear Solid and Final Fantasy, we can say that this is one system we have stuck with through out its long career. We’ve been by its side through all three major releases and plan to be by its side for its fourth, fifth and sixth as well. If you didn’t exist, Playstation, we’d miss you unconditionally. Here’s to 15 years of awesome gaming. So many memories~

Is This The Future Space Station Of The Sea?~

Called the SeaOrbiter, the huge 51m (167ft) structure is set to be the world's first vertical ship allowing man a revolutionary view of life below the surface. Mr Rougerie [the ship's designer] wants the ship to be a space station for the sea giving scientists an insight into the little-known world under the sea~

SeaOrbiter will provide a permanent mobile presence with a window to what is under the surface of the sea. The food and medicines of the future will come from the ocean. We're now starting to realise that oceans have a major role in the fragile equilibrium of our planet~

This is a picture of Samurai Mario battling Bowser and what appears to be a dinosaur but what is actually a mutant Yoshi. If I can read the watermark at the bottom correctly the piece was created by artist Xiaobaosg. If I can't read it correctly it was made by somebody with a similar name~
