Laser Rifle Blinds Enemies From 2.5 Miles~

So the military has a new laser rifle that can blind enemies from 2.5 miles. That's pretty far. For reference, that's half the distance between one road sign and another one 5 miles away~

The weapon--which is technically a "long-range visual deterrent laser device for hail-and-warning applications"--is called the Glare LA-9/P, and it's quite dangerous, even while it has a security system to avoid eye damage~

You know what else has a security system to avoid eye damage? Me. Now I don't want to go into all the science, but basically they're sunglasses. Sometimes I wear a pair on the back of my head too just to freak my friends out. It hasn't worked yet but it's gonna!~

lightsaber mp3 player: great for playing music by slash~

The officially-licensed Star Wars Lightsaber Kei MP3 Player (maybe they mean “mou kei“, which refers to a limb-dismembering lightsaber finishing move – let’s go with that) comes to us from the guys over at Japan’s Taito, the same guys responsible for licensing Space Invaders onto every item in the cosmos. These MP3 players look just like the handle off of a lightsaber, and are available in two different designs. Each one measures in at just over 3″ long, and can play songs stored on any microSD memory card. I actually haven’t found an officially-licensed Star Wars microSD memory card yet, but I’m sure there’s one out there. It probably has a picture of Jar-Jar Binks on it~

Want one of these? You’ll have to wait until February to get one. In the mean time, you can pre-order yours over at NCSX for $23.90 (USD)~

Na'vi is a a constructed language spoken by the fictional indigenous race (the Na'vi) on Pandora in James Cameron's 2009 film Avatar. The language was created by Paul Frommer, a professor at USC with a doctorate in linguistics. This website exists to share this beautiful language with all who want to learn~

final fantasy xiii elixir box set can now be yours: drink up!~

This insane collectible out of Japan is truly for you die-hard Final Fantasy fanatics out there. The set includes sixteen cans of Final Fantasy XIII “elixir” – which is some sort of Suntory lemon-flavored concoction with three-times the normal amount of caffeine and royal jelly. Mmm… royal jelly donuts. The boxed set also includes a commemorative metal chalice (I like to call it a Final Fantasy pimp cup). Only 30,000 of this set will ever be made, and each set comes with a serial number plate to prove you’ve got an official one~

While the individual cans can be found in Japan for about $2.50 to $4 (USD) each, the guys over at NCSX are now bringing the full 16-can limited-edition collectible into the U.S. for the whopping price of $165.90. That’s largely thanks to the cost of shipping this heavy mutha’ across the globe. I’m just gonna order a 6-pack of Chocobos and call it a day – maybe a whole case~

Limited Edition Star Trek Eggos~

Apparently these limited edition Star Trek waffles were released back in March to hype the new film before it came out. Why I never knew about them or got my syrup-loving paws on some is beyond me~
