Giant baby robot spits fire on Roppongi~

Sculptor Kenji Yanobe’s Giant Torayan robot, a 7.2-meter (24-ft) tall mechanical baby that sings, dances and spits fire, was sighted in Tokyo’s Roppongi district last night. The fire-breathing robot spent the night on center stage at “Roppongi Art Night,” an all-night event featuring installations and performances by dozens of artists at various venues in the area~

65,000-brick LEGO space shuttle~

Two Japanese LEGOsmiths used a whopping 65,000 bricks and 1,590 man hours to complete the stunning diorama, which even simulates a launch with flashing lights under the boosters and a vocal countdown. The only thing it doesn't do is lift off. Part of the "Nasu Space Center," it appeared as a scene in Nasu Highland Park, an amusement park in Japan~

Fruit Juice Packaging by Naoto Fukasawa~

Japanese industrial designer Naoto Fukasawa has created a series of creative fruit juice packages that have the look and feel of the fruit they contain. “I imagined that if the surface of the package imitated the color and texture of the fruit skin, then the object would reproduce the feeling of the real skin.” - Fukasawa

Tauntaun sleeping bag will keep you warm on Hoth~

As per usual, ThinkGeek has a ton of hilarious and fake products listed for April Fool's Day. Right off the bat we fell in love with the USB Pet Rock and the idea of bacon you can squeeze out of a tube, but this one clearly trumps the lot. A built-in Tauntaun head pillow? A glowing lightsaber zipper pull? I'm sold. Still, it does look a little hard to clean — and if you think it smells bad on the outside…

Right now, the Tauntaun sleeping bag is just a joke. Flood ThinkGeek with emails and maybe they'll end up making it~

Own A Plastic Box Of NYC Trash For $50~

No Joke~

"I sell garbage. I scour New York City streets picking up trash. After filling bags with subway passes, Broadway tickets, and other NYC junk, I carefully arrange plastic cubes full of the stuff. Each box is unique and won't leak or smell. The cubes are then signed, numbered, and dated, making them perfect for anyone wo wants their own piece of the NYC landscape"- says garbage tycoon Justin Gignac
Apparently Justin has already sold over 700 cubes in over 41 states and 19 countries. So, somebody start selling them for $10, and maybe I'll buy one. People buying trash off the streets of New York City, that is just amazing~
