Historic Rap Battles: Einstein Vs. Hawking~
This is a rap battle between Albert Einstein and Stephen Hawking. It was surprisingly well made (I don't expect anything to be well made anymore). The only thing I didn't like was Einstein talking so much smack on my man Hawking for his disability. Low blows, especially coming from the man with a theory of relative-ity. RELATIVE-ITY, get it? HE MARRIED A F***ING COUSIN! A first one. Haha -- doesn't sound so smart now, does he?! (Hawking FTW)~

Symphony Of Science's 'Ode To The Brain'~
Through the powerful words of scientists Carl Sagan, Robert Winston, Vilayanur Ramachandran, Jill Bolte Taylor, Bill Nye, and Oliver Sacks, it covers different aspects the brain including its evolution, neuron networks, folding, and more. The material sampled for this video comes from Carl Sagan's Cosmos, Jill Bolte Taylor's TED Talk, Vilayanur Ramachandran's TED Talk, Bill Nye's Brain episode, BBC's "The Human Body", Oliver Sachs' TED Talk, Discovery Channel's "Human Body: Pushing the Limits", and more~
I watched the whole thing, which was fairly informative. Could've done without the scene where they were poking around at an actual brain though. That part was butt-nasty. KEEP THE ZOMBIE EROTICA TO YOURSELF, PERVERTS!~

Tokyo International Anime Fair 2011 Cancelled~
The official website of the Tokyo International Anime Fair 2011 has officially announced that the event has been cancelled in view of the unstable power and the unspecified damages to Tokyo Big Sight~
TAF 2011 was already tainted by the event earlier this year when various media companies, including Kadokawa and ANIMATE boycotted the event to voice their opposition against governor Ishihara and the amendment to the Youth Healthy Development Ordinance~
A separate competing event Anime Contents Expo, backed by many of the large media/anime companies, was subsequently formed and schedule to hold their event on the same weekend but it is likely that the event will be cancelled as well in view of the need to conserve power supply during this tough period~via : tokyoanime

Purchase Street Fighter IV App To Support Earthquake Relief~
Instead of just simply appealing to everyone to donate to the Japan Earthquake relief fund, Capcom has reduced the price of Street Fighter IV for the iPhone/iPod Touch to just 115 yen ($0.99 for those outside Japan), and all the sales proceeds will subsequently be contributed to the Japan Earthquake relief fun~
This discount is offered to all regions, so everyone that purchase the game from the Apple Store will be contributing the relief fund. I think its a really good way to help the victims and $0.99 is a super deal that you shouldn’t miss XD~

Japan Earthquake: How to Donate~
For those who have seen the shocking images, videos and reports coming out of Japan in the aftermath the devastating earthquake and tsunami, some of you might want to do something for the Japanese folks in addition to writing a sympathetic Facebook status update or Tweet~
There are various forms of cellphone donation and web forms that have been popping up but before you start donating, there are some pointers that you might want to consider:
- be wary of charities you haven not heard of and stick to the big names
- make sure you are donating to a legit non-profit organisation
- you can check the legitimacy of the charity organisation via watchdogs such as Charity Watch
- give directly to a charity instead of any groups that solicits contribution on the charity behalf

Hundreds dead after massive quake slams Japan~

According to police, 200 to 300 bodies were found in the northeastern coastal city of Sendai. The death toll was likely to continue climbing given the scale of Friday's disaster~
The government ordered thousands of residents near a nuclear power plant in Onahama city to evacuate because the plant's system was unable to cool the reactor. The reactor was not leaking radiation but its core remained hot even after a shutdown~via : nbc
